Doris Coriz, Santo Domingo artist, is known for making beautiful necklaces in the traditional Kewa ways. These necklaces are strung with rough edge materials and ground down to the beautiful round discs that you see in the finished products. Doris still uses the hallmark that she shared with her late husband, James - signed JDC on the sterling barrel beads.
Necklace is 24" total length and features beads that graduate from 4 mm up to 10 mm.
This is a wonderful layering piece that stands out solo or paired with pendants.
