Chunky Chokers - there's a story about these. In 2021, I purchased an amazing 'chunky' Royston cuff from Clarissa. It had been made by her husband, Vernon and let me tell you - it is an amazing piece. It features a large 'chunk' of gorgeous royston turquoise in a beautiful, unique handmade bezel. I quickly approached Clarissa and Vernon with a vision that had been in my head for some time - the idea of the single statement stone set in a deep handmade bezel, paired with a shorter choker chain - and with that the first edition of chunky chokers were born!!
Vernon takes the lead role on these pieces, sometimes with the support of Clarissa or one of their amazing daughters - a full on family affair. The styles vary and the Hales have created several sets of these beauties for me over the years.
This one features a flat link/round chain combo and an amazing CHUNK of natural polychrome Royston turquoise. This stone was carefully selected from my personal stash. Stone measures 2" x 1.75" and including the silver it is 3" by 2.75". Chain is choker length, 16" and designed so it may be worn shorter, if desired.
